Umbrex 30 is a cream with 30% Lipostabilized Pure Urea. It is a keratoreducing treatment for dry and scaly skin layers and for localized (feet, hands, elbows, nails, knees) or extended (pilar areas, ingrown hairs) skin thickening. Used regularly, it helps keep the skin clean, elastic and moisturized. It is not greasy and is rapidly absorbed by the skin, with an immediate and prolonged effect. Its innovative formula also offers a refreshing and soothing action.

Umbrex 30 is indicated for the treatment of moderate skin thickening, calluses and psoriatic plaques.
Umbrex 30 contains 30% Lipostabilized Pure Urea.
Urea is an organic compound that, when used topically, can have a moisturizing or keratolytic effect, depending on the concentration used. The moisturizing effect is obtained at low concentrations and is due to an increase in water-binding sites in the stratum corneum and a reduction in trans-epidermal water loss. The keratoreducing and keratolytic effect is instead obtained at higher concentrations (30-50%), and the mechanism appears to be the alteration, through the breaking of hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratin of the stratum corneum. Urea is thus able to denature and disperse keratin and thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.
50 ml tube
Apply 1 or 2 times a day on clean, dry skin. Massage until fully absorbed. Temporary stinging sensations may occur on particularly sensitive skin.
