Puralin cleanser is indicated for:

Puralin Cleanser contains, among its ingredients, Chlorhexidine, Retinol, Aloe Vera and Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid. It does NOT contain SLES.
Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic. It can bind to the phosphoproteins of the bacterial wall and penetrate the cell, leading to the leakage of cytoplasmic material. Retinol (Vitamin A) is a regulator of epidermal cell proliferation and of the keratinization process. It also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Aloe Vera is well known for its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It stimulates the growth and activity of macrophages and fibroblasts and can reduce the synthesis of pro-inflammatory substances. Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid is the main active compound extracted from the Larrea Divaricata plant and is a powerful scavenger of oxygen free radicals. It also has an anti-inflammatory function, as it interferes with the synthesis of leukotrienes and prostaglandins.
