Podoval UR30 is an exfoliating cream containing 30% Lipostabilized Pure Urea, specific for medium callous blemishes, foot scaling and diffuse calluses. The high concentration of Urea promotes a progressive exfoliation of skin thickening, helping to make the skin smoother, softer and more even. Used regularly, it gives the feet a well-groomed, velvety appearance, leaving the skin elastic and moisturized. It is not greasy, is quickly absorbed and offers a refreshing and soothing action.

Podoval UR30 contains 30% Lipostabilized Pure Urea.
Urea is an organic compound that, when used topically, can have a moisturizing or keratolytic effect, depending on the concentration used. The moisturizing effect is obtained at low concentrations and is due to an increase in water-binding sites in the stratum corneum and a reduction in trans-epidermal water loss. The keratoreducing and keratolytic effect is instead obtained at higher concentrations (30-50%), and the mechanism appears to be the alteration, through the breaking of hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratin of the stratum corneum. Urea is thus able to denature and disperse keratin and thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.
50 ml tube
Apply 1 or 2 times a day on clean, dry skin. Massage until fully absorbed. Temporary stinging sensations may occur on more sensitive skin. For better and longer-lasting results, combination with Podoval UR10 Moisturizing is recommended.
