Podoval UR10 is a cream containing 10% Lipostabilized Pure Urea, specific for mild callous blemishes, dry and cracked heels and fragile skin. It deeply moisturizes, refreshes and provides immediate and prolonged relief to dry, rough and cracked feet and heels. It is quickly absorbed and is not greasy. It soothes itching, strengthens the skin barrier and helps make the skin smooth, soft and elastic.

Podoval UR10 contains 10% Lipostabilized Pure Urea.
Urea is an organic compound that, when used topically, can have a moisturizing or keratolytic effect, depending on the concentration used. The moisturizing effect is obtained at low concentrations and is due to an increase in water-binding sites in the stratum corneum and a reduction in trans-epidermal water loss. The keratoreducing and keratolytic effect is instead obtained at higher concentrations (30-50%), and the mechanism appears to be the alteration, through the breaking of hydrogen bonds, of the quaternary structure of the keratin of the stratum corneum. Urea is thus able to denature and disperse keratin and thin the stratum corneum without damaging the skin barrier.

Apply regularly in the morning and evening on clean, dry feet. Massage gently, especially on the heels, until fully absorbed.
