Ederm cream is indicated as a support in rebalancing the skin in case of:

• fragile skin prone to localized redness
• marked dryness and chapping
• areas at risk of irritation (skin folds, areas subject to rubbing)
• prevention of skin dehydration in predisposed individuals (the elderly, newborns, atopic skin)

Pure Vitamin E (tocopherol) contributes to the skin repair process and modulates inflammation. In addition, thanks to its antioxidant function, it counteracts the harmful action of free radicals on the skin, slowing down cell ageing and the appearance of wrinkles and dry skin.

Helianthus Annuus seed oil contains oleic acid and linoleic acid, improves skin hydration and, by stimulating keratinocyte proliferation and skin lipid synthesis, promotes the maintenance and repair of the skin barrier.

Olea Europaea oil contains fatty acids such as oleic acid, sterols, carotenoids and phenols. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and repairing properties. Triticum Vulgare germ oil is known for its regenerative, eudermic and antioxidant properties. Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the Melaleuca alternifolia plant. Thanks to its high content of terpenes, which are highly lipophilic molecules, Tea Tree Oil can damage bacterial cell membranes, leading to the leakage of ions and nucleic acids. It also interferes with the LPS-induced synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins. It can also alter the permeability of the cell and mitochondrial membranes of fungal cells. Jojoba Oil stimulates the activity of fibroblasts and keratinocytes through the activation of the p38, ERK1-2 and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways. It can also stimulate collagen synthesis and, in several models, has shown the ability to reduce the synthesis of prostaglandins and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
