TISSUBASE is a PATENTED FORMULA containing a blend of aminoacids, vitamins and minerals, enriched with Pomegranate extract. TISSUBASE is a food supplement useful to get additional amount of these nutrients, in cases of inadequate intake with the diet or increased need.

TISSUBASE contains Arginine chlorohydrate, Glutamine peptide, Glucosamine sulphate, Methylsulphonylmethane, Methionine, Pomegranate extract, Iron, Copper, Selenium, Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Folic Acid.

L-Arginine is an essential aminoacid produced in the urea cycle. It is fundamental for the production of nitric oxide (NO).
Glutamine is an aminoacid involved in the urea cycle that gets converted to glutamate in mitochondria with subsequent release of ammonium ion. Glucosamine is a naturally occurring molecule of the connective tissue.
L-Methionine is an essential aminoacid harbouring a methylated thiol group.
Methylsulphonylmethane (MSM) is an organic molecule serving as a source of sulphur.
Vitamin A favours maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes, it has a role in the process of cell specialization and contributes to normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin C promotes the synthesis of collagen for normal functioning of blood vessels, skin, bones, cartilages, teeth and gums. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to normal protein and glycogen metabolism. It also contributes to normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid are involved in the process of cell division.
Zinc is important for normal metabolism of Vitamin A and normal protein synthesis. It also contributes to maintain normal bones, skin, hair and nails. It contributes to normal function of the immune system. Copper favours maintenance of normal connective tissue and normal function of the immune system. It contributes to the normal pigmentation of hair and skin.
Selenium helps protecting cells from oxidative stress. It contributes to maintenance of normal hair and nails.
Iron is important for the process of cell division and for normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) contributes to regular intestinal motility and normal function of the gastrointestinal system.

The recommended dose is 1-3 tablets per day with plenty of drinking water, after meals.
According to the physician’s judgement tablets can be broken up and administered through PEG or NG tube.
