AMico nail lotion contains among the ingredients Urea, Climbazole, Piroctone Olamine and Tea Tree Oil.

Climbazole exerts antimycotic activity mainly by inhibiting ergosterol which is one of the main components of the cell membrane of fungi. Piroctone Olamine is an antimycotic agent that can block fungi mitochondrial activity. It is active for example against Trichophyton Rubrum. Tea Tree Oil is extracted from Melaleuca Alternifolia. Due to its content of highly lipophilic terpenes, Tea Tree oil can damage bacterial cell membranes, leading to leakage of ions and nucleic acids. It can also interfere with LPS-induced proinflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins synthesis. Furthermore it is able to alter the cellular and mitochondrial membrane permeability of fungi. Urea is known for its moisturizing properties. It is also able to soften the superficial layer of skin and nails, thereby favouring penetration of other active ingredients.

Before application clean and dry the nail. Apply with the applicator brush on the affected nail and surrounding skin. Let the product dry for 5 minutes. Apply regularly every evening or at least twice a week.
