Adelant cream is a dermoprotective preparation with powerful emollient and eudermic activity. It contains extracts from Horse Chestnut and Butcher’s Broom that contribute to rebalance skin microcirculation.
ADELANT Cream contains Horse Chestnut, Butcher’s Broom and Chamomile extracts, Urea, Glycerin, Glycyrrhetinic acid, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
Urea and Glycerin are well known for their moisturizing properties. Glycyrrhetinic acid is derived from licorice and can reduce oxidative damage in tissues and interfere with the synthesis of inflammatory cytokines. Vitamin B3 can contribute to relieve skin redness by interfering with histamine production. Vitamin C, besides being a powerful antioxidant, activates collagen synthesis thereby fortifying capillary walls. Vitamin E contributes to skin healing process and modulates inflammatory mediators. Thanks to its antioxidant action it can counteract the free radical-induced skin damage, slowing down cell ageing and the emergence of wrinkles and dry skin. Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) extract is characterized by high escin content, that improves venous contractility by regulating degradation of mucopolysaccharides of the venous tissue. Horse chestnut can also reduce vascular permeability. Escin interferes with the release of proinflammatory molecules that promote activation, migration and adhesion of leucocytes. Butcher’s Broom (Ruscus aculeatus) extract reduces vascular permeability and favours vasoregulation. Chamomile contains phenols and flavonoids such as apigenin and quercetin and is well known for its soothing and lenitive properties.
Apply on dry and clean skin multiple times a day as needed. Adelant cream can serve also as make-up base.
